Thank God for Russian women, they respect man as the head of the household. Warning if you think you can take advantage of Russian women and use them think again, they need to be loved honored and cherrished, marriage takes hard work, but at least Russian women are willing to work on the relationship and back you up through tough, while American women tend to kick you to the curb when things don't go their way. Might I remind the reader that 1950s nuclear family was 60 years ago and social evolution has taken place. Nowadays, the modern American woman can command a larger salary than an American man. This modern American woman may want a husband that gives compliments and little gifts, but the modern American man no longer provides those things. A warning to Russian women looking for an American husband, the younger generations do not believe it is necessary to give compliments and little gifts to their wives. It may happen during the "dating" period but it will decline if you get married. Also, a subservient role in an American marriage leaves an open opportunity for physical and emotion abuse. If a Russian woman is looking to enter a marriage that may involve physical abuse, then nothing can be done. My suggestion: rather than look for an American husband, obtain a work permit and discover for yourself how modern American men treat women. Ms. Smirnof has the wrong information.
