Yes, Russian bride scams are everywhere and men have to know what they are dealing with and how to avoid being a scam victom.
Ivana points out that one of the main reasons that women reach out to foreign men is that there is a shortage of men in Russia and eastern Europe. The law odf ”supply and demand” as she puts it is what drives these women to search outside of their homelands. I have read that there are approximately 100 Russian women for every 80 Russian men. No wonder they are looking elsewhere for qualified husbands.

Ivana also points out that Russian women like the traditional ways that western men treats their ladies well, provide security and brings gifts and offers compliments, sort of a 1950’s view of America. Many men still want to have this kind of experience with their mate but American women seem to take these qualities for granted these days, according to Ivana. She beluieves there is a shortage of the traditional type women in the US and that is the reason men are looking outside there own countries. Besides, these Eastern European women are truly beautiful and who could deny that.

Why American Men Are Drawn to Russian Brides
The Russian Bride industry on the internet is a monster market that has many pitfalls and landmines to be averted. Before we can look at this industry, it is interesting to look at why American men are drawn to these women. Why are they willing to take the risk of Russian Brides Scams and go forth into an unknown culture to search for love. To me it is a simple as Supply versus demand. The type of woman that these men are looking for is in short supply here in the USA. I would like indemnify myself a little bit before I begin. I will be talking in generalities from, what I thinks is an American males perspective. I am not trying to insult anybody or hand out blame, just some observations that I have accrued through the years.
Many people talk about how attractive Russian women are. I will not dispute this. There a 1000’s of pictures of lovely Russian women all over the Internet. And, if you would compare them to a more traditional American dating site the difference is staggering. This is all not just genetics however. One of the major cultural differences between Western woman and American women is their effort towards the way they look. Russian women a very self conscious of their appearance and it doesn’t dissipate with age. I read an article once from another Russian female author (I don’t remember who) but she basically said that if you lined up 15, 20 year old American women and 15, 20 year old Russian women, there wouldn’t be a discernible difference. However, if you did the same with 40 year old women, she could tell them apart very easily. Their obsession with appearance stays with them for most of their adult lives. It is not uncommon for them to miss meal or sacrifice some other earthly need for one of their vanities, like their hair or nails.Probably the biggest attraction for American men is the cultural values that Russian women possess. In general, most Russian woman subscribe to the “Traditional Family Value” axiom that rules every bit of the emotional makeup. From the time little Russian girls are born, they are programmed to grow up and be good little Russian wives and mothers. Most of them would prefer to be married by the time they are around 20 years of age. Here in America, we talk about a woman’s internal clock as it relates to children. Russian women seem to have this same type of clock for marriage.
To many Russian women, a perfect man is one that provides for the family. He is the main source of major decision making and provides a secure blanket to the family unit. This man showers his wife with compliments and little gifts and flowers. Its very 1950’s American culture. Modern American women kind of take these things for granted sometimes and want much more. They sometimes have a way of making men feel like they are not good enough for them and that they are always looking for something better. This might not be true, but many American men feel this way. It can be very liberating, for a Western cultured man, when a Russian women makes him feel very needed and necessary for the complete family, which these women do.
So, when you add up all of these attributes of these women, it is no real surprise that Western men search out their companionship. Many men find Beauty, loyalty and the right to reserve ones manhood as very attractive qualities in a woman. Although there are scams and fraud involved with this scene, I don’t see it showing any signs of going away. When there is market, there is a way!
